About the adventure

This is a introduction game aimed to teach new players how to play the Fallout system using a homebrew scenario or if players prefer the official adventure With a Bang or a Whisper. Players of all experience levels are welcomed. In a hopeful and booming Commonwealth town, a string of grisly tragedies leads the town’s elders to a discovery that threatens the minds and lives of everyone they know. The protectors must choose to either abandon the town and let die one of the region’s last bastions of hope, or confront the mystery and it's unknown dangers. I have found it enjoyable to run TTRPGs with a mix of comedy and seriousness. Much like an episode of the Venture Brothers, Futurama, Star Trek the lower decks, or similar adult cartoon with dark humor. If the day and time isn't a good fit feel free to suggest a different time.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Players will need a mic, a discord account, a copy of the fallout core rulebook, and good internet connection. It is recommended to read the rules before hand. During session 0 we will test your ability to access foundry vtt and I will give a tutorial on how it works.

Gameplay details

How will character creation work

At session 0 players will create their character using the standard character creation rules found in the core rulebook or pick a premade character. I am willing to consider homebrew. Lastly, we will make a backstory but it is not necessary.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
