About the adventure

Warning - This game is focused on giving me some hands on practice with chronicles of darkness(2nd edition) as all my previous storytelling was done with 1st edition. As such I am listing it for free & looking for dedicated players who are experienced with 2nd edition for 4-6 sessions. Welcome to the city of King's Way Colorado. This is my custom created campaign setting for all my mortal/hunter games in the chronicles of darkness, and in it players will explore the dark history of this mid western city. As you uncover more about King's way you will find horrors that may shatter your mind, break your body & even rob you of your very soul. Campus of The Forgotten Like most major cities, the local university is a high traffic spot in the heart of King's Way. With so many students, faculty & other people always on the move.......some go missing. Many disappear, never to be seen again. But what will the players characters do when they stumble upon the source of these disappearances? And will their minds be able to handle the terror that such knowledge brings?

Gameplay details

Most sessions will be a mixture of investigation, role playing & combat depending on where the current plot line is going. Combat is also very dangerous when up against supernatural creatures, so characters becoming injured or close to death is common. Character deaths are uncommon but still very possible, depending on the actions of the party. These games are very high role play focused, so that will always take priority over hours of grinding combat. Content Warning : Descriptions of supernatural murder & horror(which may or may not occur to player characters). Violence. Obscene/vulgar language(cursing) Adult themes(sex, drinking, criminal activity) Sexual content will always fade to black if a character pursues it with an NPC.

How will character creation work

A Zero Session will occur with everyone on discord & roll20 to create a party of characters with narrative ties to each other within the setting. In this case, the setting is King's Way University, so concepts are restricted to students, faculty & other college focused concepts(local bartender, cafeteria worker, book store clerk, etc).

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
