About the adventure

Were you a child of the 80s or are you just inspired by TV shows like 'Stranger Things' and want to check out how RPGs were played 'back in the day'? Book me run a short D&D session online or in person at a gaming cafe or at your 1980's themed party! I can customise this session to suit your group's needs. No prior is experience required, though I can provide a challenging game for experienced players too! I can run this session online or in person using any of the classic D&D rule sets or modern retroclones. Want to go toe to toe with a Demogorgon? Battle a Beholder? Slay a Red Dragon? Get in touch! My player's safety and comfort is my highest priority. I always discuss game tone and content prior to starting a session with new players and use a simple 'X card' safety system in both online and face to face games.

How to prepare

To play online you'll need a webcam (greatly improves the experience for everyone!) and a microphone. Please consider using headphones or earbuds to prevent echo/feedback.

What I provide

I bring the fun! But I can also bring everything needed to run and play the game. If this game is booked for an in person party I'll bring a gift for the host and free dice for all the players!

Gameplay details

Online games are played using Discord for video and audio, I strongly encourage players to use a webcam for everyone's benefit. I use a variety of tools to share a visual focus for players. My player's safety and comfort is my highest priority. I always discuss game tone and content prior to starting a session with new players and use a simple 'X card' safety system in both online and face to face games.
