About the adventure

A LV20 epic battle. Your legendary team of four Level 20 Adventurers will be saving the world from one of biggest threats known to the Material Plane. This monstrous aberration known as the God of Beholders has already gained some control in the Feywild and the Shadowfell realms and now it comes to take control of your world! You are nearly into the core of the earth itself, deep under the ocean and earth depths. Many ships have sailed, many adventurers have swam the depths, and many have dug and crawled through the caverns to reach the lair of this otherworldly aberration. None have returned from a encounter confronting it. Many rumors and tales have spun of it regarding power and treasure. But out of them all, nothing would surpass the treasures and tales of anyone who slays it. Your team has reached the furthest they have ever been. Before you stands a grand door to which you each hold an ornate key to go into each keyhole. Ungodly sounds are heard beyond the door, you faintly hear waves crashing against stone and rock, and the most powerful presence of magic is felt. You have time to prepare for your Epic Battle. What do you do?

How to prepare

✅ Join the DnDBeyond, Download Above VTT, Discord, and read the Google Document as soon as you can. ✅ Please bring a cooperative attitude, most of all. This is a game where GM/DM and the players tell a story together. If you need to talk to me or someone about conflict, do so outside of game and I'm there to help. Questions are more than welcome anytime though. Technical issues happen and we'll be gracious with each other when that happens. ✅ Things you need: Computer, tablet or hybrid system capable of running web based programs, internet access. and audio input (camera optional but encouraged) Discord account (free) DnDBeyond account (free) Above VTT (browser extension, free) ✅ Feel free to discuss with each other and myself in Discord about the Creation process (I won't specifically plan against what you share. Everything is premade). You'll need all the help you can get to survive this battle. There will be a 1-hour Prep Time and time to prep immediately before officially starting the Battle/opening the door to pre-cast certain spells, use items, etc. ✅ Please do NOT search the Beholder God's stat block specifically. Whether or not this is completely homebrew, from another source, or something else, you wouldn't want to spoil any surprises, would ya? If you do, please do not share particularly metagame info with others. You can, however, take as much standard player and Beholder/aberration knowledge as you know with you and share.

What I provide

🎲 The DM will provide the module information, encounters, maps, music, ambience, sound effects, handouts, information, and all that's needed for a great session of Online D&D. 🎲Extra Classes/Races/Content other than what is in the books I currently own on DnDBeyond are up to you to buy or hope someone else (or yourself) with Content Sharing has more than me. 🎲 Your financial support allows me to give you my focus and priority through out the week, obtain better and more materials to better my GMing and your experience, and indirectly supports other players by helping me focus on this as my job. Gameplay details

The X card can be used at any point if a participant is uncomfortable with the content happening in-game. The N card can be used at any point if a participant feels like they are headed towards an X. The O card can be used at any point if a participant wants to continue with the content. There will be a break roughly 90 minutes into the battle for 10 minutes.

How will character creation work

Due to the experience I expect you to bring to the table, I want your Characters mostly or fully ready by Session Start. Characters need to be ready ASAP. Please send a list of your items, as noted below, ahead of time so we can discuss changes if needed. 1. You can start with the following amount of Magic Items along with any reasonable amount of mundane items. 2. Send me a list of items you wish to have, both Magic. 3. A Consumable such as a Potion or Scroll counts as "half" an item (2 potions of same rarity equal 1 item of same rarity). 4. You have enough material components for all your spells.
