The wind's howling increases as he turns his gaze down toward the village of Barovia. Far below, yet not beyond his keen eyesight, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd's face forms the barest hint of a smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they came - all according to his plan. A lightning flash rips through the darkness, but Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind fills the midnight air. The master of Castle Ravenloft is having guests for dinner, and you are invited." (Text from the back cover of Curse of Strahd module) This is a grimdark horror adventure for characters of levels 1-10. My name is Sam, and I would like to take you on this adventure of horror. I have run D&D games for over 25 years now, and I have run Curse of Strahd a few times now. I have also read the novels and have thrown my own twists into the setting and module. Whether you are new player or a veteran of D&D, I welcome you! (Evil vampiric laughter with epic organs in the background.)

How to prepare
Discord with a functioning mic for voice chat. Contact me on Discord: Samshiir#4768 I will get you on my server and we can discuss starting this game from there.
What I provide
We can discuss between using 2014 rules or 2024 rules. I keep a Discord channel for the voice chat, a dice rolling bot (optional), and to keep the lore of the setting and story. I tend to run my games with Theater of the Mind style, but I can use Roll20 or Foundry if players prefer that. I generally stick to the rules as written, but also bend them for the Rule of Cool when necessary.
Gameplay details
Feel free to talk to me about anything that may need to be avoided or if anything bothers you, whether it is during or after the game. I must warn that Ravenloft is a *very* dark setting.
