What I provide

With over 20 years of experience running roleplaying games, I’ve pretty much seen it all and can handle whatever comes up at the table. I love embracing the weird and unexpected, so you can expect a game full of surprises and twists. I’m passionate about storytelling and enjoy crafting plots that sometimes go off the rails, giving you and your fellow players plenty of room to explore and shape the world around you. I’ve run hundreds of professional games, many of which are hosted on StartPlaying, and I’m grateful for the growing community of players who keep coming back for more. I also share access to my digital library, offering a wealth of resources to make the game even better. Most importantly, I bring excitement, creativity, and a lot of enthusiasm to turn your game into a real ADVENTURE!

Gameplay details

A preliminary interview can be scheduled if clarification is needed. Real-life discussions on sexual, political, or religious topics should be kept to a minimum at the table. If there's anything that triggers you, please let me know in advance. Cancellation Policy: It is the player's responsibility to notify if they need to skip a session or leave the game. A 24-hour notice before the start of the session is required to avoid penalties. If notice is given after the 24-hour mark, the GM will determine how to proceed based on the individual situation. All refunds are issued as player credit.

How will character creation work

Character Creation Character creation will take place during our first session (Session 0). The main source material we'll use includes: The Corebook, A Tome of Chaos, Lords & Lands, A Witcher's Journal, and various DLCs. In The Witcher TRPG, character creation is all about building a story and a legacy. Every choice shapes your role in the world and how others perceive you. Pick Your Race The first step is choosing your race, which not only grants you unique abilities but also influences how people of the Continent react to you—will they welcome you, or will prejudice make your path more challenging? 🧑 Human: Versatile and adaptable. 🧝 Elf: Proud and ancient, with a deep connection to magic and nature. ⚒️ Dwarf: Hardy and resilient, known for their craftsmanship and bravery. 👞 Halfling: Small and quick, often underestimated by others. 🔮 Gnome: Clever and inventive, with a knack for tinkering and alchemy. 🦎 Vran: Reptilian warriors with incredible strength and unique abilities. 🐾 Werebbubb: Mystical, mischievous beings of the woods, at home in nature. 🐺 Witcher: Mutated monster hunters trained to battle the deadliest creatures. Run a Lifepath This step involves a series of chance rolls that define your character’s history, values, and relationships. The Lifepath shapes your story, offering the opportunity to gain allies, boons, or encounter enemies and challenges that influence your character's development. It’s an optional but enriching step to add depth and context to your character. Pick Your Profession Your profession defines your skills, starting gear, and a unique skill tree. Whether you choose to be a battle-hardened Man at Arms, a cunning Criminal, or a mystical Druid, your profession sets the tone for your role and abilities. 🐺 Witcher: A master hunter of beasts, honed in deadly combat. ⚔️ Man at Arms: A seasoned soldier who never falters. 🧙 Mage: Channel chaos with powerful spells. 🎸 Bard: Weave tales and charm your way through conflicts. ⚒️ Craftsman: Ensure your allies’ gear is battle-ready. 🗡️ Criminal: Navigate shadows as an assassin or smuggler. ⚗️ Doctor: Save lives with precise surgical expertise. 🍀 Druid: Tap into the mystical essence of nature. 💰 Merchant: Gain secrets and influence for the right price. ☦️ Priest: Guide and support communities, earning their trust. Pick Your Statistics Determine your core abilities, such as toughness, intelligence, and agility, to establish the strengths and weaknesses that will shape your character’s approach to challenges. Select Pick-Up Skills Choose additional skills that add versatility and reflect your character's past experiences and growth beyond their profession. Get Your Coin Use the Starting Coin table to determine your initial wealth, which will help you equip your character for their adventures. Outfit Yourself Spend your coin on weapons, armor, and essential gear for your character’s survival and success in the dangerous world of the Continent.
