About the adventure

A dark low fantasy world inspired by ancient Egypt, where the 42 noble houses of the nomes (actually called sepat) vie for power as a dynasty falls, all wishing to provide the next Great King, called Pharoah. Each house descends from at least a demigod, (according to legend anyway), but seven of them claim direct descent from a true god, and are the mightiest houses. Each Great House leads a consortium of 4 to 7 other houses as vassals, and each house has their own take on the state religion, placing their own primary god and the gods of their vassal houses in more prominent positions in the pantheon, making this a religious struggle as much as political. Complicating matters, great nations to the south and east threaten the borders in this time of turmoil, and an ancient threat, long forgotten and rarely believed, rises again in the deadly deserts to the West. Ta'Iteru asks what an ancient merged Egyptian and Nubian civilization might have looked like had it lasted until the high medieval period, with similarly advanced cultures based on Punt, Sumeria, the Phoenicians, ancient Greece and more, gracing distant lands. How to prepare

All you need is a mic, a webcam, your imagination and a willingness to take the secondary world seriously.:)

What I provide

I have all the books needed and a character generator to help out. I'll be glad to help you make exactly the kind of character you want, outside the limitations of class based systems, but within the genre and tone of the game. I run roleplay heavy games and build deep, fully realized worlds. I do tend to do voces for the various NPCs.

Gameplay details

We will talk about do's and don'ts, especially any personal topics to avoid, in the session 0, or it can simply be added to the consent list as a topic to avoid and we don't have to discuss who's subject it was. We'll also talk about House creation and character creation, as all the PC's will be assumed to be from the same house, probably one of the Seven Great Houses.
