How to prepare

We use audio only on discord (tts supported) and Roll 20 for gameplay. No software required, just a free Roll 20 account. Reading rules and doing homework about how your character works is recommended/encouraged (but not required).

What I provide

Maps, handouts, portraits, tokens, items and other visual art surrounding the game is provided in the Roll 20 game server/discord server. Your character art is up to you and your token (figure) will be customized to your liking! Dice rolls are automated macros and buffs are super easy to enable, your character sheet does the math for you! All the rolls are just a click away!

Gameplay details

🌏Be part of a living world with immersive gameplay, endless customization, rich story lines, deep roleplay and crunchy-fast-paced combat. Whatever game style you seek, it can be tailored! Player contracts and safety protocols are discussed openly or in private through discord. The Bloodgate Saga discord server contains a plethora of info/links to support the living world of games. 🎚️Starting level is set to the active group. Independent character creation is not expected, but not discouraged for veteran/experienced players. 📜The setting is in Pathfinder 1E~Golarion and Homebrew/Living world regions (more details discussed in Bloodgate Saga discord server). How will character creation work

⚖️In order to keep things balanced, all characters will use the pathfinder point buy system with 20 points to spend on base abilities! Join the Bloodgate Saga discord and get access to special races, perks, classes and in-depth look into the living world (DM me for a link!). http://jody-white.com/pathfinder-ability-score-calculator.php (high fantasy~20 points) 🎚️Starting level is set to the active group. Independent character creation is not expected, but not discouraged for veteran/experienced players. 👾In-game experience speed is medium with fast loot (strong loot generation) and mythic gameplay is unlockable. Hero point system, called shots and kingdom builder are enabled (to name a few). The following points list out character build parameters: **Traits & Drawbacks** -Pick 1 trait per character -Gain an extra trait for one drawback -Max starting 2 traits -Additional traits (and drawbacks) can be earned during gameplay **3rd Party Published Materials** -Used in game modules, restricted access/limited access for players **(can be unlocked in-game)** -Available 3PP Classes: **Bladestorm, Generational Hero, Jester** -No unchained classes. (can be unlocked in gameplay) **Starting Wealth & Gear** -All characters start with 300 gp@1st level + wealth for higher level.
