    About the adventure

Can you survive the Supers? Whos puts the screws to them and keeps them inline? What's stopping them from doing whatever they want? Welcome to Victory City - once New York City USA, renamed after the battle of 1987 when supers came into the light. Now the city is protected by the First Line a group of corporate owned superheros. These games are inspired by postmodern takes on Superheroes such as The Boys by Garth Ennis, Watchmen by Alan Moore, The Tick by Ben Edlund, and Powers by Brian Michael Bendis. Victory City Blues brings to life stories where players take on the role of troubled and traumatized Hunters either seeking revenge for the wrongdoings of America’s beloved Supers, or seeking to bring them to justice and accountability. Not So Magic: Setting Info In Victory City Blues, Magic is technically non-existent, but since most magic could be considered a power of some kind you really just need to change the descriptions and you're good to go. Are you ready to face off against god like beings with nothing but a handgun and a pack of smokes? Good, get in the van. Let's do this!

    Gameplay details

This is a Monster of the Week game. It is a narrative focused game that uses 2d6 to resolve random elements. It is very easy to play and really creates interesting dramatic moments and awesome interactions. The players will pick a playbook working with the Keeper(DM) to make sure they fit in the supers and sci-fi type world altering the playbook as needed. Then it's off to the races. A session looks like 5-8 mins of getting into it and saying hellos. Then it's off solving the mysteries that will revolve around supers somehow. Following clues and having cool interactions with suspects, victims and bystanders. Learning the weaknesses if your opponent and finally trying to confront them without getting killed. Every super in this game is very dangerous to the hunters and should be treated as such. The hunters may die if they do to many stupid things, but that makes it exciting. You mess with laser vision you may get burned.

    How will character creation work

You'll pick your playbook before and work out who you will be playing with the keepers(DM) help. The playbooks will need little tweaks here and there to help make them fit the supers and sci-fi setting.
