About the adventure

Let's Learn to Play Dungeons and Dragons! This is my most popular D&D 5e One-Shot. It is highly reviewed, won some awards and players new and experienced love the module. It is designed for both beginner players in mind but experienced players will love it as well. You are a group of monster hunters known as The Order sent on a mission to retrieve an item so that it does not fall into the wrong hands. You must make your way through a graveyard, crypt and solve a puzzle as each character’s stories unfold and intertwine with each other. The game has carefully designed characters to choose from. It is a one time play (one-shot) designed for 2-4 hours Requires minimum of 4 players but optimized for 6.

About me

My name is Erick. I have played Tabletop RPGS for 30 years now. If you ever told me that I could get paid to play TTRPGs I would have thought you were joking. But here I am today. The CEO of StartPlaying asked me join StartPlaying during beta just before the pandemic. When the pandemic lifted I went back to running in-person games at game rooms where I live. I now back on StartPlaying to open up to online games again. I have run games for events, conventions and Adventure League helping people learn and understand TTRPGs for the first time. And for the advanced players, I have offered challenging and intriguing memorable stories. I have traveled the world as a travel photographer connecting with people and telling their stories. Now it is time to create our own stories together. Let us sit down with a group of friends, roll some dice and tell a story together.

The list of characters include: • Scout – Human Monster Hunter Ranger • Reese Gubber – Human Transmutation Wizard • Imani The Driven – Half-Orc Oath of Vengeance Paladin (available with 5 or 6 players) • Taylor Urirel – Human Thief Rogue • Sam Kouhrs – Hill Dwarf War Domain Cleric • Storm – High Elf College of Glamour Bard

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Make sure you have a computer with the latest up to date browser from Chrome, Firefox or Edge. Safari unfortunately does not work with Foundry VTT. Make sure your browser has WebGL enabled. A good headphones and microphone is required. A webcam is highly suggested but not required. Foundry does tend to be a video RAM and/or RAM resource hog. For this make sure that you have a integrated GPU to enable hardware acceleration and 8gb of RAM. Must have a display that is no smaller than 1366x768. Most modern computes can do this with maybe an exception of Chromebooks.

What Erick brings to the table

Upon confirmation I will provide the link to the website online where we will be using Foundry Virtual Tabletop to play the game. The game will have the choice of characters with their character sheets already set up.
