About me
I've been a DM for over 5 years. I use D&D 5E with a bit of homebrew for my game system. I love telling stories and sharing worlds with people and that is what pushed me and keeps me as a DM. I get get enjoyment from the collective experience from TTRPG's and seeing everyone having fun. I like a mix of combat and RP for campaigns, one-shots are more action focused but I always encouraged inventive game play from my players. I do believe in game stakes should carry consequences and player characters can die, but it my combat is balanced and fair for players of all levels.
GM Style
So you know how I run my games: I use battle maps to aid in immersion and placement. I think knowing where you are and where you want to send that fireball is important. I feel that It's important that players know that their choices matter. A fight isn't always destined to happen, there are always different ways around any situation. Your rolls carry weight as do your intentions. I believe flavor is best. I have always encouraged creativity in character creation and flavor text is always welcome. You want your Harengon to have the horn of an Almiraj, I love it. I'm not a rules lawyer and I am human so I can't know everything. Decisions are made on the spot sometimes, I will not waist players time with certain things. But all decisions are made with the game and players enjoyment in mind. I am always willing to hear you out but not over another player. Respect is by far the most important thing to me. Respect your fellow players and the GM. If you disagree with someone for any reason please be mature and open-minded about their point of view or lifestyle. My games are LGTBQIA+ friendly and open to all. Last and not least is fun. We are hear to have a good time and get lost in another world.
