Is there space for authenticity in RPGs? I think so! I would argue that we can be VERY authentic while playing a different characters, because we get to touch less explored parts of us. GM Style
My GM style is all about making the players shine and telling the best story that can come out of the collection of minds and hearts around this table. I love love looooove bringing the silly out, finding unique characters with unique voices and stories for my NPCs, and helping players shine the spotlight on what makes their characters so compelling and close to their heart. Ultimately, for me, RPGs are all about connection. Connection between the players, connection between characters, and the connection between you and your character. Through this lens, every moment is meaningful and part of the tapestry of our lives. And with that, let's ROLL!

Neev's storytelling is a delightful mix of chaos and collaboration that makes for a wildly entertaining game. He has created a play environment where he continually makes the players feel safe, heard, and deeply involved with all parts of the game, while presenting challenges that are tense, surprising, emotional, or all of the above. I end every session thrilled and barely able to contain my excitement for the next one.

It can be daunting joining a group of strangers, especially for a paid game. I had my concerns before I started, but all those were put at ease from session 0 and since then this game has become the highlight of my week. Outside the game Neev is open with communication and receptive to feedback. At the end of each session the group has our stars and wishes discussion where praise which parts we enjoyed and express what we would like to happen in the future. In the game Neev has challenged our characters physically and emotionally through both his amazing cast of NPC’s and the interconnecting story we have barely scratched the surface of. If you are seeking someone that emphasises character driven narratives and interpersonal relationships Neev is for you.

Yavin is a good GM and seems to care about the players. I have had him reach out to me after games and actively try to learn from feedback. He is invested in running a good game and will make efforts to make sure that you are understood as a player so that efforts can be made to make the game better for you. This is a valuable trait.
