About me

I’m an tabletop and RPG enthusiast with an extensive improv background. I’ve studied & performed improv for over a decade and started playing D&D three years ago. My approach to D&D mixes character development, collaborative world building, and pop culture mashups; yielding a fantastical and challenging campaign. I’ve taught improv and D&D to beginners of all ages and provide a safe, fun learning and playing environment. I have the most experience with 5e D&D and knowledgeable enough to guide newcomers through character creation, provide tips on RP, and adjudicate combat and non-combat encounters. If you are looking for a one shot, out of the box adventure, or home brew campaign, or anything in between, I’d enjoy nothing more than to make your tabletop dream a reality!

GM style

My favorite campaigns are where the player characters contribute to the world and storyline. I pose challenges with multiple solutions, drive character decisions through relationships, and provide situations for you and your party to be the hero (or antihero) of the century! Rules are great, fun is greater. My sessions thrive on teamwork, creative thinking, and listening to one another. If you are scared of role playing or improv, awesome, we’re all beginners at first. Sharing the spotlight and boosting one another, in game and out, writes deep, meaningful, beautiful stories. I expect everyone to be attentive while in session, even if their character is not in a scene. Caring about what’s every character’s journey is imperative because needs, wants, and goals often overlap. Every session may not involve a combat; you’ll have plenty of opportunities to match wits, skills, and steel week after week in unique encounters. Even if we are running a prewritten game, there will be twists you can’t predict. Let’s tell a brand new story together!
