About Fern
I have always loved telling stories. It was only natural that at some point in my life I would stumble upon D&D and the world of TTRPGS in general. What I love most about playing these sorts of games is the ability for small communities to tell great tales and connect. That's what I love the most: community and compassion. I am a full-time journalist, a part-time novelist, and someone that loves flowers. The three things I love most in the world are my cats (Moonpie, Cantaloupe, Oscar, Pluto, and Pigeon), my family, and adventure (whether in real life or as part of a made up reality).

How Fern runs games
My GM style is very much about the comfortability and enjoyment of the players. My goal is always to make sure everyone at the table is having fun and finding the space to grow and develop their character and story. I focus on the safety of my players and the overall cohesiveness of a group. I will always follow lines and veils, and have check-ins if I worry for anyone's boundaries. In the end, I follow rule of cool, and focus more on narrative/rp experiences over rule lawyering and combat.
