About me

Hello there! I'm a D&D veteran that started with the Red Box in the 1980s and have played through every edition since. I absolutely love 5e and it is my favorite edition (so far!). I've been DMing almost exclusively for the last 20 years and in that time I've run dozens of games for players from a variety of playstyles, backgrounds and skill levels. I promise to provide you with a fantastic game, and any help/support you may need. :)

GM style

As a veteran DM with years' worth of shenanigans under my belt, I am pretty adaptable to different types of players, their ideas and their creative solutions. I would say that Pacing is one of my strongest suits; I don't let things drag on. I know the 5e rules, and stick to them when applicable, but sometimes, you just gotta make a quick rule and move on. :) Almost every session will have a mix of the 3 pillars (Combat, Social, and Exploration). Combats are fast and intense (typically lasting an hour or less), social encounters are meaningful, and secrets and clues abound for those that know where to look... Most encounters/scenes will be story-driven and have multiple paths to victory (or defeat) - got a crazy idea? Go for it! Out of the box ideas are always welcome! I also believe in complete transparency, every single die roll I ever make will be visible to all players. For better or for worse, there will be zero fudging ever.
