About me

So my story begins back in the early 90's and AD&D 2e. What drew me to TTRPG was the endless possibilities of emotions, places, creatures and persona's available through story and mechanics. I love reading new settings and lore, I'm a compulsive RPG book buyer although i'll admit I never read them all. I can never decide what character I want to play, so as a GM that enables me to play them all. My favourite game setting leans towards dark fantasy.

GM Style

Hello. I've recently joined this community however I've been a TTRPG enthusiast for quite some time. While i enjoy playing, I've gravitated more towards the GM role across the various games I play. I don't run many adventures 'as-written' and prefer a sandbox approach to campaigns and adventures. I like the balance of tactical crunch with narrative story avenues. Should you wish to join me, the key principles I bring to each game are: * It must be fun. * It needs to be inclusive to make each player feel valuable. * The story should support to the goals and objectives of the player (character). * To try deliver some EPIC moments. * The game system mechanics are a guideline not a restriction. * Players have agency to drive the story, not just the GM. What I seek from players is: * To have fun! * To be engaged with the story aligned to their character. * To be a member of a team and respect each other. * Be constructive with the story and character progression.
