About The GM Dude
Hello all! My name is Mike and I have been playing/running games using D&D 5E for the last 5 years, focusing on challenging combats, active role play, and incorporating player backstory into the campaign. While running games, I use the rules to generate tension and drama, while keeping in mind that not all the rules are relevant. My goal as a GM is for everyone at the table to enjoy an almost movie-like experience with the added benefit of changing the narrative. I run my games using Discord and Roll20, utilizing DnDBeyond for sharing sourcebooks, as well as Syrinscape for music and added sound effects. All players need is a couple of free accounts and we can be gaming in no time! For this campaign, I want to use the Greek/Roman Pantheon in a fantasy setting similar to the Forgotten Realms, more details for those who want to know more! Players of all skill levels are welcome! Hoping to play Saturdays or Sundays, time (PST) dependent on group!
