Ukrainian DM who's passion for D&D can only be compared to my love for my players characters. I share every ounce of their joy and grief, amazed by their discoveries and self-reflections, weep and laugh with them. For many years I've been constantly improving on my ability to help you shape your characters stories. I spend thousands of hours preparing each campaign, filling them with vibrant maps and exciting encounters, but they will never be complete without your characters to explore them!

AKA AJ Black on the interwebs! I've been a gamer for years, and tabletops were just a natural evolution of that. My first memory of playing was a Star Wars adventure with my brother and uncle, and I've been hooked ever since. It was only a matter of time until I got the itch to host games, and the catalyst for it was my partner, who'd never played tables before but was interested. I gathered a group of friends around us, and I never looked back. 8 games, 4 years, and a lot of lessons later, here we are. I am still growing, and I'll be the first to admit that, but my focus is on ensuring my players have a great time to forget about life's problems for a few hours. I specialize in Star Wars games, but have branched out recently into a few different things, including the new Marvel game that released last year, and Dr. Who. When you play with me, you get a DM who's just as excited for every session as (hopefully) their players are! You also get someone who's laid back and follows the rule of cool more often than not. I play my games almost exclusively through Discord, mostly afternoons/evenings, and we use theatre of the mind, though if the situation calls for it I will discuss other options. The only thing I ask is that if we set up a time to meet, please keep me appraised of what's going on. I understand that sometimes life happens, and I will work with you, but I can't do anything if I don't know about it. A crude homemade TTRPG cuz none of us knew about and had access to the big official ones. It was fun brewing worlds then, so much so that I've honed that habit today. In each campaign, I make it a point to engage with the player characters’ backgrounds. I have been into fantasy ever since I was a young lad, be it literature, games, or art. I am also an avid video gamer, pc gamer and have played old RPG game from the early 80s to now. But there is nothing more I enjoyed most but playing roleplaying games with friends and strangers on the table. That was the time I had my first contact with the Tabletop RPG genre, I fell in love with it. I could not only enjoy adventures and worlds made by others by then, and now I could make my own and shared my stories with others. I started with a lot of other RPGs and became a DM at 18. More than twenty years later, I have been the DM in a plethora of campaigns and events. I've played with and hosted in my hometown and city with huge number of friends and strangers in houses, gaming stores, events, conventions, and gaming clubs. I take real care when introducing people to the hobby as everyone's first time should be special so they can love the hobby as much as I do. My main goal is to have fun games where my players can feel comfortable and become invested in the world I created and the players can journey in. Nothing makes me feel happier in RPGs than listening to my players enthusiastically recount the tales we have created together and then coming back for more. As they say, the degree of success for a session or campaign is judged by how long after the players talk about it. As far as paid DMing is concerned, it is my firm belief that a professional DM is expected to have high standards in his attitude towards the game and the players. And you can expect as such from me. Some dragons hoard gold. Others hoard gemstones. While I never will turn down such hoards, I hoard stories - a hoard that grows with each passing day. As a long-term roleplay writer, I enjoy creating new stories and curating prewritten ones to fit the tone or purpose of my stories, parties, and games. I have been type-roleplaying for many years, being part of the forum roleplay groups back in the age of Gaia Online and other similar groups. Since then, I have been writing posts that expressed the inner workings, the active actions, and the pointed conversations of hundreds of complex characters. This is only amplified when compiling them together to form a story that is reactive and interactable from a group seeking the next dawn. I have a corgi familiar named Fenrir who often enjoys giving me the Help action and is a mini-celebrity amongst my players, often having a related npc or party pet that represents Fenrir and his antics. I value narrative context and will do my best to fit the mechanics to the narrative you want. This has led me to curating and crafting custom content - often referred to as homebrew - for several games, players, and even other game masters. I do my best to not include AI generated imagery in my live games, choosing to not use such images for advertisement and actively replacing any edge/unknown cases with commissioned pieces, and often support growing artists in my communities. I also do not use AI in any of my play-by-post messages. This provides a raw experience to my creative inspirations.
