About me

I am a 41 year veteran of TTRPG's with a large majority of that as a D&D DM through its various editions since the original box sets and AD&D 1E release. I have many other RPG's under my belt as both a player and GM or ST depending on the system in question, but my passion has always been for D&D... other than 4E... we won't go into that fiasco. At that time I switched my group over to Pathfinder some time in 2010. I have a great passion for the game and crafting stories and challenging encounters. I advocate for my players to use their imagination and be creative with their characters in-game as well. I want my players to have plans for their characters, for possible strongholds or estates, crafting of some new weapon or armor or magical item. I value player agency and love to work with my players to help them realize their vision for their characters, while still maintaining game balance. Please join me in one of my games. Session 0 is always free and sessions 1 & 2 are usually free, session 3 is usually half price, and you would pay full price per session thereafter. This allows you time to experience the play style of the group and my DM style to determine if our game is the right fit for you, as not everyone feels the same about how to play this great game, so if we aren't the right fit, you can move on to find that game that is right without having spent your hard earned money on something that didn't work for you.

GM Style

I start with a fair balance between story, combat, roleplaying, mystery/puzzle and begin tailoring the game from there to fit with what my players enjoy. I try to ensure that the style of game is suited to the players at my table. Voices weren't part of my experience when I learned to play many moons ago and are not something I am particularly gift at to say the least. Though I do enjoy RP a great deal and I do my best to bring my NPC's to life for my players. I am no voice actor, but I feel I am good enough at the narration and dialog with my NPC's that I don't have to be Matt Mercer.
