About Szabot
I started playing D&D in 1985 with the Red Box. After ten years of playing and DMing (mostly AD&D 2nd Edition with Dragonlance, Dark Sun, and homebrew), I stepped away from TTRPGs until picking up 5th Edition D&D in early 2023. It’s a whole new world with digital sources, VTTs, and voice chat—I’m loving it!

How Szabot runs games
I enjoy running games with a mixture of exploration, tactical combat, and social roleplay, but I lean toward a fast pace. In my other life, my mantra is “move the agenda.” In D&D, I want to keep moving the story along. Story and characters are supreme. I am reliable, organized, and fair-minded. I lean into the rules for the sake of consistency, but ultimately rely on the rule of cool.
