About RebelScholar

My name is Kris (He/They), and I have been playing D&D since i was 8 years old. Starting with AD&D, using my dad's old modules. It scratched the creative itch in my brain like nothing else can. Since then for 20 years I've been crafting worlds and stories with my friends and other new players who wish to try. I'm also very inspired by film and books that take a naturalistic approach and focus on building communities and friends to take on the world. FINDING not TELLING a great, satisfying story is paramount to me. I'm a very fair and easy going DM. I've helped a lot of new players navigate through playing tabletop games for the first time (including my beloved wife) I also am an artist, so I make it a point to do a lot of character portraits of my players and NPCs (just for fun and free because it makes me personally happy) I run a fully inclusive and safe space, with no toleration for bigotry, racism or exclusionary sentiments. How RebelScholar runs games

I'm all about facilitating the story that you want your characters to go through. I'm very content aware and will not put triggering or offensive content in my games. Any tough concepts handled whilst battling the forces of evil will be discussed and parameters set in session 0. I am first and foremost, here to provide the background for the emotional journey you wish to fill your heart with. We keep it fun, stay tonally consistent and ensure everyone has a chance to shine!
