About me

I have been playing sword-and-sorcery storytelling games since I was eight years old, when my brother and I needed something to occupy ourselves in the Minnesota farmlands. This began my love of interactive storytelling and collaborative worldbuilding, a passion that I hope to share with you! I have tons of experience running games for both complete newbies as well as TTRPG veterans, and I try to utilize my background in worldbuilding, theater, and playing waaaay too many video games to create fun, interactive campaigns with compelling intrigue, engaging combat, and truly heroic moments of triumph and sacrifice (plus time for goofs). My 5th Edition games all take place in the same living world that I have been growing and developing for over 5 years, and I hope that you can add your own story to its weaving tapestry.

GM style

I try to tailor every TTRPG experience to the player's wants and needs, whether that means extremely crunchy combat or goofy social encounters. My personal strengths are in rich worldbuilding and compelling character stories, as well as using a few principles of video game design to create fun and engaging combat and dungeon experiences.
