About me

Hello! I'm Steve, I've been playing as gamemaster for many years now. You'll find me playing games like Blades in the Dark, D&D (any edition), Pathfinder or Star Wars D6. I started out playing table top war gaming along with OG Nintendo & the PS1/2 videogaming with my dad, now I'm passing that along to my own boys. I'm here looking for: ☺️ Enthusiastic players ☺️ who want to make the most out of their games, ☺️ and wants to be a part of something awesome! Are you ready to start the game?

GM Style

My GM style focuses a lot on roleplaying, story and narratives. I utilize combat as a way to grow the story and to add stakes, and I don't really care for a whole lot of out-of-nowhere randomness in my games. I play primarily in campaign mode, but we can also run shorter arcs can narrow the focus down to one or two really cool ideas. I have hosted for parties up with twelve people (and learned a lot from my experiences), but my preference is for smaller groups of players, between 3-5. I love rule-of-cool for the extraordinary moments, especially for my D&D games. For my Pathfinder games, I tend to be more rules-as-written. As a GM, my goals are to challenge you as a player and to see what choices you as the character would make. 👍I'm always learning. 👍I have many tools in my toolbox I'm willing to pull out. 👍The comfort and security of our table is my top priority. ✅ I like my games to have internal consistency. ✅ I utilize maps and music to add texture and layers to our story. ✅ I play using a balance of both strategic & tactical combat.
