About Nick
Hello everyone! My name is Nick and I've been playing TTRPGs since 2015. I started as a beginner with D&D 5th Edition and quickly became a "forever" DM for my friends. I love playing and learning new TTRPGS. I am experienced with D&D 5e, Pathfinder (2e), Starfinder (1e/2e), Call of Cthulhu, and Delta Green. I also have a ton of games on my "to-do list" that I'd love to play. Feel free to reach out it you have any questions! Update: My schedule is currently full. I'm unfortunately unable to take on any more games at this time.

Featured Prompts
I became a GM because
I felt bad having the same friend run games all the time!
My favorite shows/movies are
anything horror.
When I'm not running games I'm...
playing video games, board games, or spending time with my cats.
How Nick runs games
I'm friendly and open-minded. I love introducing others to the hobby and sharing in a fantastic experience. I try to balance gameplay with equal parts combat and roleplay, but am flexible depending on the group. I also try to maximize player character experience by tying backstories and player character lore into the games. Generally speaking, story is everything but intense dungeon crawls have a special place in my heart. I also make myself available outside of games for discussion on anything you might need. I like to follow rules as written, but the rule of cool is also super important. I feel like it is the GM's role to narrate a world in which all of the players can have fun and express themselves however they see fit (within reason, obviously). Everyone is welcome at my table. I'd love to run your next one-shot, campaign, or custom game and I'm also ready to dive into a new system.

I once ran a session...
where I made a player cry real tears. This was because of a character moment that really hit home for them and the table. We talk about it fondly and it was a fantastic moment for our group.
Nick's ideal table
My ideal table is one where creative people can come together and share in a real experience. Funny games can be serious and serious games can have humor-it's all about balance. I also enjoy when players look forward to getting together every week.
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
can make connections to story hooks or reveals.
I think it's a red flag when players...
don't communicate. Anything from missing/being late to sessions or issues with other players/me should be addressed quickly.
My perfect party mix is
people who look forward to meeting up every game.
