Hi! I'm Morgan Coffin! I'm 32, I had always wanted to play D&D until 4 years ago when I finally did and it clicked. This is my dream. So, I set out to learn all I could about the hobby in hopes of becoming a professional Game Master and Designer. Along the way, I made mistake after mistake, learning from each of them and now I run a weekly session with my friends, am designing a full system, and have made 2 and published 1 One-Page RPG. Top 3 Games for me are Mork Borg, Dragonbane, and Dungeon Crawl Classics. My favorite thing about TTRPGs is the emergent gameplay and storytelling. From random roll tables to unexpected player improvisation, it is a fulfilling community experience. So come along and explore a new world with me where you decide your fate!

GM Style

Rulings over Rules. Rule of Cool and Roleplay Rewards. Emergent Gameplay/Storytelling over Prep and Backgrounds. Session Zero is just Getting to know each other while setting boundaries before jumping into the game. Exposition dumps aren't what you're paying for, I'll teach you on the fly. I run old-school style games focusing on emergent gameplay and storytelling. Improvisation has always been expected from the players; therefore, I feel it should be expected from GMs. I can run adventures but thrive in random tables and emergent storytelling. I'm not here to kill your PCs--My monsters are though. So I expect you to think outside of the character sheet, get creative, use teamwork, set traps, and kick my monster's butts! Or run for your lives! Acting as a thespian is appreciated but not required. In terms of roleplay, I only ask you to have your PC act in accordance with their beliefs and attitudes. You have agency! The world will be nearly as much your world as it is mine. Within reason, I encourage you to create and roleplay NPCs, prompt quests, and decide what loot you're looking for! POC and LGBTQIA+ Safe Space, so check any bigotry at the door. It will not be tolerated. I have an Open Door Policy.
