About me
I'm a freelance game writer/designer, professional game-master, and host of the Diceology podcast. My published works are by Paizo Inc., Evil Hat Productions, Fandom/Cortex Prime. I've self-published 'By Aecer’s Light', 'Lifted: Vault 01' and I'm currently working on 'Lifted: Indomitable' powered by Cortex. I like games and stories about outsiders and underdogs. Burning Wheel RPG is my jam; I have onboarded many new players to that fantastic experience. I love to run Scifi games and superhero games. Champions Now and Cyberpunk RED are my current favorites. GM style
I like to run games RAW. Only where a game comes up short will I apply some GM lift. I enjoy playing to find out, meaning I don't prep a plot -we explore situations and use the rules to see how it plays out. I believe in Session Zeros where we discuss the lethality we want and safety tools and the premise of what are we playing. I'm a sucker for player-driven RPGs. I'm a daemon at running one-shots, teaching games and I love the 5-8 sessions campaign arc. Consider my 'Games Played' list my Shortlist of 🔥 games I enjoy running and am pretty good at it.
