About me

Hello! I'm Lyre, and I love roleplaying. I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for about four years, and DMing for three. My games tend to feature heavy roleplay and allow players to drive their own stories, a strong story, and theater-of-the-mind combat where the Rule of Cool tends to outweigh a heavy focus on mechanics. To me, TTRPGs are all about creating great characters and telling awesome stories, and that's what I try to help facilitate in all of my games!

GM Style

Roleplaying characters and telling stories are the two more rewarding parts of TTRPGs for me, and that's what I try to encourage in all of my games. If you're at my table, you can expect a strong focus on both of those things, along with in-depth descriptions, visual aids to help set the scene, and agency to go about problem-solving as you see fit. I also try to weave character backstories into the plots of my stories as much as I can to give player characters a connection to the world they live in. For those new to the TTRPGs, I'm also able to run slower paced games focused on ensuring that everyone can understand and learn.
