About me

Hi! I’m Abadonne Darlington D’Artagnan Kilbride, IV and I would absolutely love to run a game for you. I’m a creature of myth, Gorgon of old, TTRPG streamer, writer, creator, and Founder at Exquisite Corpse Presents: A Home For Unusual Stories . In the effort to become the confessional poet of tabletop role playing I write, produce, and run Say a Prayer for California: Sister Cities, a post-apocalyptic dystopian DnD 5e homebrew, and La Naissance D'Une Reine, a Thirsty Sword Lesbians homebrew set in the years following the death of King Arthur. I’m a founding cast member of Blackness and Dragons and has appeared on Going Critical RPG as Loset Lee, Lore Everlasting as Petra Pellucid and Siddalee Ware, and on the fully-crowdfunded A Tale of Two Lions hosted by @AnoriandGD. My written work can be found in BeNeverending’s anthology, Anansi’s Tapestry of Lives, and my confessional chapbook Styx River Anthology is available on Bandcamp.

GM Style

I believe in creating worlds, regardless of system, that live and breathe while the players are away from the table. Worlds that feel as real and have as much effort put into them as the player characters that have been built to inhabit it. As a DM it's important to me that there be a back and forth between myself and the players as a whole and as individuals to make sure that everyone is getting time and enjoyment out of the game. I love player characters that have deep backstory and little tics and charms that come out through roleplay. As a DM I do value roleplay over combat but quite enjoy running combat in Theater of the Mind, whether it's PVP or against BBEGs. My twitch channel, exquisitecorpsepresents, focuses on creating stories that reflect reality, that reflect our players, that tell stories that represent us as individual and special human beings and I would love spend more time doing that with more friends! I want to start hosting games because over the last year or so I've been running 2 full-time homebrew campaigns that I'm absolutely in love with along with being fortunate enough to play in several games and try out new systems, and I would love to spend more of my time in worlds beyond!
