About me

My biggest passion in life has been writing fiction, poetry, and gaming materials since I was a child, having been raised on myths and legends, with a wealth of fictional worlds to feed on from anime, comics, fantasy, horror, manga, scifi, and more. Reading and writing aside, I also enjoy most forms of gaming, geekdom, and nerdy activities with very few I dislike. Physically I enjoy dancing, hiking, martial arts, swimming, and weapon arts. I am a chef and can cook most genres and thousands of dishes, as I'm from a long line of cooks, caterers, and restaurateurs. I've worked many years in the clerical, legal, and tax business to support my art, authorships, and game development. (It shouldn't matter but in case you're curious, I am a Ancient Gay Latino who has lived all over this huge country and traveled my whole life; I love gaming with, learning from, and meeting new people of all alignments, backgrounds, experience levels, and social personality types!)

GM style

Been writing, designing, and running tabletop role playing games such as D&D, Call of Cthulhu, World of Darkness, etc. for 35 Years. I am an Author of many books and a Game Developer- the creator of Empyrean: The Hyperfantasy RPG. (The Next Step in the Evolution of Tabletop RPGs!). I have run many long term games well beyond epic level (in fact, this is the intention and core features of Empyrean) for groups as large as 8-12 with occasional rotating guest stars and semiregulars popping in from time to time. I can work with all levels of gamer from total newbies to established veterans. While my games are generally family friendly-ish (as much as dark fantasy and horror can be), I dislike censorship and do not stray from difficult topics, decisions, or moral quandaries. My games are often intense and demand a certain level of imagination, problem solving, puzzles/riddles, role play, teamwork, and venturing prowess (clue collecting, map making, etc.).
