About me

My name is Harpe, I'm a relatively new DM but I have a few years of experience with TTRPG's under my belt, namely 5e and the Pathfinder systems. I started DMing out of complete impulse because my friend group wanted to play DND again and have quickly transitioned into being the forever DM of multiple groups. I prioritize the player experience over anything and making sure all players and characters feel integral and important to the stories I write. When I started DMing I began working on my own world from the ground up and using players to help shape the stories that have happened within that world to help everyone feel important. I additionally keep the world loose so that when I get new players they can also assist in shaping the world to help keep it more alive. I mainly utilize Discord and Foundry VTT for my players to try and set a mood via the music and visuals of certain battlemaps, but also for some stuff I utilize theatre of the mind since I unfortunately cannot have a map for everything.

GM Style

I adore character interactions and roleplay over anything, I try and format my stories to be loose enough that anything can be done in them with the proper thinking and planning to give my players free reign over how they approach the story. I additionally format and design my combat encounters so that every players class will be allowed to shine.
