About me

I have been a Dungeon Master since 2019 and played as a player around a dozen times. I have run one-shots for brand new players and multi-year campaigns for experienced ones. I've DM'd in both in-person and online sessions for a wide range of individuals including kids, family, friends, acquaintances, and complete strangers. My focus is on creating fun and engaging games tailored to each table's preferences and experience level. I am not overly strict about rules as written and I occasionally incorporate light homebrew elements to ease in new players and maintain a steady pace. Roleplay (to the comfort level of the table) is encouraged but not mandatory beyond making decisions based on character motivations. I believe my role is to present players with a living world that has compelling obstacles to overcome, how they choose to interact with it is up to them. I don't tell a story, we create one together. I mostly use DnD Beyond and AboveVTT as my virtual tabletop.

GM Style

I enjoy roleplay as well as combat heavy sessions. I think that variety is essential to keep things interesting and I always try to impress players with unique moments. My character voice skills are limited but I try to give all NPCs unique personalities through description and action.
