About me

Hail and well met, I hope your perusing this assortment of splendid artisans has not left you dissatisfied. My name is Ethan or Golden and I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for 10 years and have been a Dungeon Master for 8 of them! I have written my own worlds and crafted my own stories but have also fallen absolutely smitten for The Forgotten Realms. I love and respect all kinds of people and promote kindness toward each other as players at my table. I've hosted groups as large as 8 at a time, and even DMed tournaments for 24 people split into several groups, so no amount of players is too large.

GM style

My usual, most comfortable style is defined by the following: Serious overtones/Comedic undertones - I like to emulate the feeling of the wonderful medias that first got me interested in Dungeons and Dragons. Media like The Lord of the Rings, Narnia, The Princess Bride, etc.. that have a serious overarching story, and playful or comedic short spurts throughout. Complex Storylines - I love writing story points that intercross several times over. If you enjoy searching your notes for points and clues as to what may come or the feeling of sleuthing your way toward correct assessments, I'm your DM Character involvement - Writing very specific, targeted segments of the campaign so that each player feels their character is directly involved in the spotlight HOWEVER THIS IS ADAPTABLE I've run campaigns with strictly serious, even horror-esque tones. I've also run campaigns with the sole intent of making people laugh. I think what's most important is that you and I communicate about what you want from the experience!
