About me

Howdy! My name is Andy and I have been working as a professional Game Master for a few years. I've run corporate Dungeons and Dragons events for companies in my area and private events on commission. I do work for a local game store as a Store GM on contract. I have been running Tabletop Roleplaying Games for over ten years and am a proud forever Dungeon Master. I am experienced with Dungeons and Dragons editions 3.5 to current however I personally prefer to run any of the wide and varied types of games that exist outside of the Dungeons and Dragons sphere. Examples include: Chronicles of Darkness World of Darkness 1st/2nd edition Blades in the Dark (and many other Forged in the Dark games) Wildsea Lancer Brindlewood Bay (and other Carved from Brindlewood games) and many more! (Also I'm always down to run something for the first time! I love trying out new games and exploring new frontiers!) I love to tell stories and build elaborate worlds for my players to explore and have fun in. I especially love bringing new people to the hobby and teaching them how to play TTRPG's. There is no better moment than watching the spark in someone's eyes light up when they suddenly get it and are having fun! Also LGBT+ friendly. I'm a bisexual man and work to create open and inviting environments for my players to feel comfortable in.

GM style

I love a good story and no matter the system I will work hard to pull the best story out of the material, working with the players to tell the tale they want to tell. I prefer to create open worlds where the players can make decisions that matter with no rail roading. I often create homebrew worlds with their own wikis that you DO NOT have to engage with to have fun but the extra lore is there for the players that really want to sink their teeth in. I do character voices, I create soundscapes with soundboards, I handcraft maps in Inkarnate and provide visuals of NPCs and scenery to evoke the mood. My goal is to provide an experience that is easy to immerse yourself in.
