About me
Hello fellow travelers, my name is Ryan shull i have been playing D&D for a few months myself now and i have been watching and interested in it for years. I host a local game at my house but i am wanting to play more, i have ran a few one shots and done some one shots myself. I have alot of interests in Homebrew and story telling but of course i wanna roll those dice so lets do some combat!
GM Style
Roleplaying is something i have been working on to make things more immersive. I have a few voices i can do for more important characters. Combat encounters are what really lets my creativity shine.

Game Master Reviews (8)
Played Dragon of Icespire Peak Adventure (with homebrew improvements which diversified the original linear story) The first session involved 6 players who previously did not know each other and were mostly shy to interact with one another. It seemed to be a little bit rushed to get over with basic but fun quests and to level us up (spoiler: later on the adventure got even more interesting later on). Ryan did explain that he was waiting for the 2nd session to make sure everyone would commit to the adventure before he would set up VTT for us. Overall, everyone's impression from 1st session: Very Good! Overall everyone's impression from following sessions: AMAZING! 10/10 Once Ryan was sure all players were on board (it was no surprise for me, since the start was very entertaining), he put his full effort. And it was very surprising how an already great game could improve SO MUCH! What happened: Ryan understood our group dynamics and helped each and everyone to fully and equally express themselves and their ideas and helped us open up and start to interact with each other. This was the key to create a great environment to do personal shenanigans and roleplay without any hindrance to campaign's captivating pacing. My personal most important criterion - is story immersion. I did have an awful experience with a paid DM on StartPlaying and, having such a comparison, is the reason why my review of Ryan/DaFrizz is so positive. Because Ryan does a masterful job creating and maintaining immersion throughout each long session.
Ryan has been a very good sport. He has helped my group and I become more comfortable in role playing while learning how to play DnD... you see, we were virgins to DnD. Though we are still learning, Ryan continues to make our adventures exciting as he forges the story as we live it. I would definitely recommend Ryan to any new players since he is so accommodating and fun.
My experience with Ryan as our DM for D&D 5e has been nothing short of amazing so far. I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say about our time playing together. He takes us on great adventures that are touching, funny, challenging, and all round fun. He has been amazing at taking us through several NPCs with their own personalities and putting us into precarious situations that he allows us to work our way out of. Right now we've found ourselves in the middle of a magical mystery to find a missing relative, and I can just see myself thinking about this all week until our next session, trying to figure out the secrets behind the mystery! Our games are honestly the highlight of my week. I would especially recommend him for newer players who are still figuring things out as that is the position my friends and I were in when we first met Ryan. We can ask all the stupid questions without feeling stupid because he is so accommodating. He helped us navigate the world of D&D without it feeling like a lesson. Overall, he puts so much thought, time, and consideration into making the game fun for us as players, and it's something I truly appreciate. I think others will too.
