About GloriousGe0rge
Hi all! My name is George, and I am a professional Dungeon Master and Storyteller with over 10 years of experience running high-immersion campaigns. I specialize in crafting rich, character-driven narratives across a massive array of systems, including Dungeons & Dragons 5e, Mothership, Call of Cthulhu, Vampire: The Masquerade, Hunter: The Reckoning, Cyberpunk, and Kids on Bikes! Currently, I run games professionally for Forgotten Adventures, where I host live, CRIT Award-winning streamed campaigns twice a week. In addition to my streamed work, I have spent years running high-stakes games for corporate clients and premium live events. My ultimate goal is to provide a masterclass tabletop experience to every single player who joins my link, delivering the exact same high-production value and intense NPC interactions to my StartPlaying tables as I do on camera. I am always open to custom requests or scheduling adjustments! If you see a campaign you love but need a different timeslot, send me a direct message and let’s build your next adventure together.

I became a GM because
I was always a natural storyteller growing up, having a gift for making stories engaging and interesting and keeping a listener's attention. So once I got my taste at playing DnD, I knew I had to prepare to run a game eventually, and I did only a year later!
My favorite books are
Dungeon Crawler Carl, House of Leaves, September House, Good Omens, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Short Stay in Hell, This is How You Lose The Time War, Dante's Inferno.
My favorite shows/movies are
The Magnus Archives, Person of Interest, Attack on Titan.
How GloriousGe0rge runs games
Visual focus DM with voice acting skills and amazing storytelling. Able to go rule of cool story first style or crunchy mechanical combat based on player preference. My tables are a safe space for all my players, their comfort and happiness is key. I'm well versed at welcoming and teaching new players to the game so no pressure if it is your first time! We all start somewhere.

I deal with rules issues by...
Rule of cool is king! I respect the rules of the game, and I try to adhere to them, but if the energy at the table says otherwise, I'm happy to break those rules.
My favorite trope is...
Deals with the Devil and other Faustian Bargains...It is always fun to see what a character is willing to sacrifice for what they want, and how they deal with the dangerous slippery slope that often is a devil deal. Can they stay true to their morals? Or will they be corrupted?
My games focus on...
I focus my games are both roleplay and combat. I want my players to be able to act in character and make true connections in the game world, but also I want to test their merit with a healthy dose of combat to keep the stakes high.
GloriousGe0rge's ideal table
Players who want to roleplay and act in character are the best. I love creativity at the tables, but most of all I want my players to be engaged, don't be on your phone or playing warcraft while we play please!
