About me
Hi there fellow adventurers, and welcome to my table! My name is Alex (He/Him). I’ve been a dungeon master for about 5 years, and playing roleplaying games for over 10 years. I am in my element when describing horror scenes. I'm heavily influenced by H.P. Lovecraft, Arkham Horror, World of Darkness, the fear of the unknown. The malignant and terrible monsters is what I love! Since DND is one of my first loves, Curse of Strahd is my headline and add that deep and dark elements to my roleplay. You can expect a deeply horrifying experience here. If you're looking for Nordic themed horror, Vaesen is the way to go. If you want modern Cthulhu, Delta green is your RPG. Like zombies? Hit me up about the Walking Dead. Clever gameplay is rewarded through creativity, and inspiration, calling on my improv skills form regular workshops, I'm ready to 'yes and', or 'no but'. I'm also now an up and coming aspiring voice actor. So you can expect some silly voices, but I am by no means an expert. Despite this I'm happy to do fun and silly whimsical RPG's as its a fantastic in between and a way to lighten to the tone from the otherwise, more thought provoking forms of RPG's. Hit me up with a private message if you'd like to discuss more!
GM Style
I am mostly a rules as written GM, which is especially particular when it comes to DND. If you love the improvisation, and going with the uncertainty of random dice rolls then I am definitely the GM for you! I tend to let the dice stay the rolls that they are. My style is a focus on immersion and roleplay, where I try to make the world feel as alive as possible. The world will react around you in my games. I am definitely what you would call a narrative GM, and a one that embraces randomness. More importantly, here is what I offer: 🎤 Aspiring and training Voice Actor. I have a voice coach I work with regularly to build upon my skills. I've been trained in using LABAN efforts and speaking techniques to enhance the storytelling. 🎭 Student of the Stanislavski method, as part of my voicing acting development. You can be sure that I will continue to grow and be the best I can. 🔮 Access to D&D beyond sharable content for you to make your characters. 🧙 Roll 20 maps and dynamic lighting. No ads, as I have a pro subscription. 🐲 Discord Server where we play our games over a voice chat, with appropriate channels to manage the game. 🎙️ Ambient music through the web application Syrinscape, as used on Critical role and other high quality DND streams. 📖 Google docs for campaign guides, and everything you need to know about setting up before you play at your first session. 🦄 'm most definitely LGBTQ+ friendly at my table as I am part of the community.

Inclusive
Storytelling
Sets the Mood
Inclusive DM who works both with the rules and the players to ensure the adventure best suits pre-established expectations. Quick response time and great communication during and after the session. Able to handle both new and experienced players, and excels in mood and setting (specifically horror).
If you are a strong DnD player and want a challenge, sign up for the curse of strahd game! Lexi is amazing at setting the scene and tone of the game. The voices are great and the they play the bbeg so strategically! If you love gothic horror and tough combat definitely check it out!
Lexi is clearly passionate about the games she runs, and creates wonderful voices and personas. Her DM style is a bit more rigid than many on SPG: she definitely puts the rules ahead of other considerations. Also, she isn't afraid to admonish players when she believes they aren't engaging with the activity of the session, show up late without notification, etc. This may be off-putting to some who want a more chillaxing RP experience. If you don't mind your DM being a bit regimental though, and appreciate someone who really puts research in to make your game more realistic, she's a good option to consider.
