About me

Hello adventurer and welcome! I am a D&D 5e game master who started the journey because I LOVE how my players' faces shine when their story is getting so cool and that got me addicted to D&D. I would love do help you develop your own story and bring tailored opportunities to the table! But D&D is so massive, so what are you interested in? Here are some of the areas I specialize in: - Fierce combats that feel organic with their surprises, flavours and most of all strategy (your enemies won't just charge in) - Exploring picturesque landscapes with their own ecosystem, wildlife, culture and dangers - Interacting with laid out NPCs and organizations that are grounded and complex in their relationships. - Puzzles that require wit, collaboration and imaginative use of skills. - Character archs that constantly progressing through the story with opportunities of development Let me know your preferences or simply give a try to an open sandbox where you try different opportunities! I am always enthusiastic when players bring up ideas. About me, you ask? I'm a lover of life, a musician with electric bass, contrabbass and ukulele, a calisthenics practicioner, a prog rock/jazz/metal music enjoyer, a business student, a bit of a world traveler, a world history and psychology reader and an overall good person according to my beloved wife.

GM Style

I always strive to stay true to the material I am working with, meaning that I always prepare an NPC, enemy, location or event studying what flavours should it include and what are the core mechanics I need to use in the background. My style is very role-play based rather than focused on the mechanics, but I prepare them in advance and use them in the background to let the story progress in a grounded manner. In combat, I am highly strategic and study an enemy's purposes, rules and way of thinking to bring a "realistic" encounter. I like to think my social interactions as connecting not only to an individual, but also the organization and network behind that person. It's always more fun when you involve the topics you never bring up at a family dinner: religion and politics. When using modules, I like to tinker with the material to adapt it to the team or simply add a bit more spice to it. I love to integrate material from the players and fit them in a broader narrative, bringing both the familiarity from known connections and the surprise from these connections extending beyond the individual and to the other players and the world. I am open to homebrew and love to change rules in collaboration with the players according to personal preferences and curiosity. I like to bring various style of playing to the table and love to get in the role by reading related literature: from the dark fantasy of Berserk to the childish fairytales of Astrid Lindgren's books, from historical 20th century non-fictional stories such as Archipelago Gulag to the cosmic horror of Lovecraft's The Road to Madnes series. I always ask beforehand what are the sensitive topics as well, making sure not to play a setting with perhaps sexual content, gory violence or drugs when even a single player is not comfortable with them. On request, I will moderate personal conflicts between players and strive for a consensual resolution to friction.

I've had the pleasure of playing Dungeons and Dragons with George Waters as our dungeon master, and I have to say that he is incredibly creative and makes the game so much fun. He always has a new and exciting adventure prepared for us, and his attention to detail in crafting the world is fantastic. One thing that really stands out about George is his ability to create memorable characters and encounters. Whether we're battling a giant, a strange new creature, negotiating with a cunning thief, or exploring a mysterious dungeon, George always finds a way to keep us engaged, and invested and somehow always amazes me with new sorts of enemies to encounter in the story. Overall, I highly recommend George as a dungeon master for anyone looking for a truly immersive and entertaining Dungeons and Dragons experience. He is a master storyteller and an excellent game master, and I can't wait to see what adventures he has in store for us next!

George was really good at including our entire team in the game and helped with clarifying rules where needed. He seemed to really enjoy building the world and story so all our options seemed natural. The best thing about George is that he really was a DM out of pure joy, which in essence is what makes the perfect DM

This GM really knows how to setup the story so that information can be used later as if in a mystery story. This creates a satisfying story without it feeling like we are being railroaded.

It was a very fun game, the story was amazing and He was pending on changing the music depending on the scenario and that just made the encounters more real. My favorite part was the voice acting haha like "business are business, money is money" 🤣 I think we all had fun and He was very helpful in the first games, helping me with my character, since it was my first game, so I would recommend him as GM very much!
