About me

I'm a 36 year old gay white guy who has been in the hobby since I was 16 and been GMing consistently for the last seven years.

GM style

I aim for a mix of 50/50 roleplaying and combat with an emphasis on player driven narrative. I seek to emulate a living world where there are plenty of things for the characters to react to with a tone that is adjusted as we play to fit the style of the players. My combat tends to be crunchy and tactical with battlemaps and random events. Also, I am definitely one of those "amateur thespians" Gygax once complained about who tries to do voices for every major NPC and isn't afraid of sounding like a fool. I'm also an amateur Medievalist with a keen interest in what life was really like during the middle ages and so I endeavor to bring realistic lifestyles, meals, and politics to my games.
