About me
Hello there! My name is Eli, but I prefer to go by Flop Drop online! I have about three years worth of GM experience, and six years of playing. Since learning to GM, I have hosted games nearly every single week (with the occasional break for the Holiday BBEG). While I do not play TTRPGs besides D&D 5th edition, I know the system inside and out. Whether you are playing in one of my homebrew worlds, or enjoying module, my highest priority is to tell a compelling story collectively with my players! P.S. - Check out Finding Familiars on Spotify and Apple Podcasts!
GM Style
My GM style is player centric with a focus on story. My hope is that mechanics and stats fade into the background as something compelling unfolds before you. One of my pet peeves is calling for needless ability checks for the sake of "story". Simply narrate your actions, and, if I deem it worthy of a roll, I'll let you know! Many tasks in-game you can simply do... no roll needed! As for mechanics, feel free to min-max as much as you would like for your character. There is no reason to not use every tool as your dispoal. We can have both strong mechanics and strong story!

Storytelling
Inclusive
Creativity
Eli's ability to bring a story to life continually impresses me. He has great prowess for playing numerous characters, and diligently maintains NPC consistency, allowing for a boundless and growing world. I think Eli's best quality lies in creating challenges for his players, all while keeping his players experience at heart. I have quickly lost count of the number of times he's given me a story friendly way to pivot my choices for my own enjoyment. Lastly, Eli meets players where they're at. He's run games with mixes of experts and beginners with tact - allowing all to play at their own level and grow.
I have been playing with Elijah for a couple of one shots and two different campaigns. I was completely green to DND and did not even have my own dice. But Elijah as a DM will make the newest of players feel right at home. He has encouraged me to not only take chances and risks but also to be myself. Playing for Elijah means playing with a DM who values you the player and giving you the space to step into your own creativity in an environment that your voice matters. There are a lot of amazing DMs out there and Elijah is easily among them!
Would rate 10/5 stars if I could. I have played in many games with Elijah as the GM and have completely enjoyed every experience. His goal is to tell a good story and for everyone at the table to enjoy being a part of that process. He runs the latest edition of DnD and is very knowledgeable about rule and is always magnanimous with his GM style.
