About me

My name is Derek and i have been playing DnD for about 2 years now. I have recently become interested in Trying my hand at Game Master and creating homebrew. I am currently working on a campaign called The Works of the Amber Artist. I believe in the rule of cool and encouraging creativity in games and my world will reflect that. My setting is still under development however once it is finished, I will set up and release my first campaign. If you are interested in the concept or would be willing to help me playtest the world feel free to shoot me a message. I would run the game through roll 20 and discord like my own games once I have everything together.

GM Style

I have created a setting that actually has a fairly fluid vibe. There will be various types of characters and enemies, some of which the players contribute to the creation of. I encourage the creation of personal enemies or causes to incorporate the player's story into the world. Combat will be tactical requiring the players to cooperate and make interesting moves to gain the advantage. Out of the box thinking will be rewarded depending on context and rolls. If a player has an idea and the in-game resources, I will figure out a way to make it into something they can use. I am new so I will need practice, but I intend to provide the best games possible.
