About Rafael (Dorado Adventures)
I’m Rafael Dorado, an experienced Game Master and the creator of Dorado Adventures (international) and Rol Dorado (Spanish), two projects built around carefully curated TTRPG tables. I focus on immersive storytelling, stable groups, and campaigns where players actually feel involved and heard. I enjoy strong narratives, meaningful character choices, and maintaining a good rhythm at the table. Although I’ve run most of my games in Spanish, I’m now offering full games in English. I’m not a native speaker, but my English is clear, fluent enough for roleplay, and never a barrier to having a great session. If you value consistency, atmosphere, and a GM who takes the game seriously (without killing the fun), you’ll probably enjoy my tables.

How Rafael (Dorado Adventures) runs games
• Emotional, narrative-focused play — with balance I enjoy emotional storytelling and immersive scenes, but never at the expense of the table’s overall enjoyment. My two core principles are simple: everyone should have fun and balance always comes first. • Rules serve the story, not the other way around I’m flexible with mechanics and pacing. If tactical combat or strict rules start to slow things down or hurt immersion, I’ll adjust on the fly. That said, I’m always happy to review rulings after the session and learn together if something felt off. • Strong roleplay and NPC portrayal I enjoy doing character voices, speaking in first person, and reading player reactions. I highly recommend using a webcam if possible — I’ll be using one as well — as it greatly enhances roleplay and table connection. • Respectful table flow I value focus and flow during scenes. I don’t like frequent interruptions while a scene is unfolding. If you have rules questions or concerns, we can always discuss them calmly after the session. • Mature themes, handled responsibly I’m comfortable including mature themes (violence, social conflict, darker tones) when they serve the story and the setting. I don’t linger on explicit content, but I prefer to set expectations clearly so everyone knows the tone in advance.

Rule of Cool (RoC)
Rafael (Dorado Adventures)'s ideal table
I enjoy proactive tables where players engage with each other, collaborate, and drive the story forward. As a GM, I don’t aim to be the center of attention — I see my role as an arbiter who makes the world react to player choices, not as someone who constantly leads characters by the hand. I’m happy to guide new players when needed, but I especially enjoy moments where I can step back and let the group discuss, roleplay, and create dynamics organically within the fiction. Some of the best scenes come from players talking in-character while I simply observe and take notes. This table fits players who enjoy agency, shared spotlight, and an active role in shaping the narrative.
