About Chris Johnston
I love cooperative games of all kinds! I've got eighty-something physical board games, I've played 3 different TTRPG rulesets over the past 8ish years, and DMed for 6 years. I love to play support so that other players have fun, and the whole group can win. When GMing, I love to help players learn things they didn't know about a system, and work with them to generate game experiences we can't have playing a video game.

How Chris Johnston runs games
As a Game Master, I want to craft and simulate a world that engages each player the way they have fun. For me, that includes tactical challenges, cohesive NPC motivations and goals, and compelling opportunities for players to really make complicated choices as their character.

alternating between 1)crafting relationships between groups of monsters, the place where you find them, and what they'd be doing whether heroes encounter them or not, and 2) spending time imagining being my NPCs, so I can react like they would to things the PCs do and say
