About Thor Knai
Greetings! I'm a gamer, game-designer and actor with a special passion for D&D, and the collaborative and emergent storytelling it so wonderfully creates. My tables are never short on laughs, even if only to alleviate the tense and doubtlessly very dangerous situations your party might find themselves in... again and again. I run private games with some fairly illustrious players here in Hollywood on a regular basis (Joe Manganiello, Vince Vaughn, Tom Morello, Craig Mazin, Dan Weiss, Kyle Newman ++), and although I absolutely encourage player participation (and my Gawd are they good at that), we all play in our own way. It's totally cool to just join in, go with the flow, and share the experience however you like to. I run my professional games with special consideration to my players' wants and needs, and with 25 years of DM-ing and 15 years of acting under my belt (DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Reign, The Outpost ++), I'm confident we'll be able to tell our stories together in a memorable way.

How Thor Knai runs games
15 years of acting (VO, TV & Film) here in Hollywood, on top of 25 years of gaming/DMing. Everyone enjoys different aspects of the game, and although I love me some voices and dramatic descriptions, I love the thrill of battle, tactics, and great strategy just as much. The important thing to remember is that we are telling a story that we enjoy together, I am not a DM that tries to punish or "play against" my players. I try to be fair and entertaining, and in my experience, some of the best moments happen when mistakes are made and things take an unexpected or unintended turn!
