About me

I've been playing D&D for over a year at the time of writing, and I have been DMing for about 6 months. I'm approaching this with a sense of humour, a sense of openness, and a sense of fun. I believe in working together - DMs and players each doing their part to tell (and be part of) a fun story that is safe, tonally consistent, and led-by-rules-but-also-the-rule-of-cool.

GM style

I'll bring access to content and maps on D&D Beyond. I own content including Xanathar's, Tasha's Guide, PHB, and more, and share access to these with my subscription. I was initially using D&D Beyond's Maps Alpha, but am now using AboveVTT and Discord. I like to keep action and RP moving so that there is time for players to do what they want - combat is often intense but with an element of fun, and RP is there for those who want it but can be hurried up in instances where people are less interested in it. As a former educator and trainee therapist, I have experience helping people get used to new things - I'll do whatever I can to help you feel ready and part of the campaign.
