About me

Hey there everyone! I have always been a gamer (board games, video games, computer games, and of course TTRPGs). As a teen I fell head over heels in love with D&D, but (as many experience) didn't have a consistent group to play with. Years later after gaining theatrical, improv, and writing experience, I came back to the table and fell back in love with the collaborative storytelling that happens when playing TTRPGs. I run games that are first and foremost, player focused. I will always come to the table with some ideas, but am always ready (dare I say happy) to throw those ideas out and improv as my players blaze their way across the Forgotten Realms, 1920s Massachusetts, or any number of alternate realities and realms. I work hard to make sure my games are both accessible to all experience levels as well as inclusive of all people. While my journey began with D&D 5e, I also have experience with both Call of Cthulhu and Dungeon Crawl Classics. I look forward to getting to know you!

GM style

I love combat, roleplay, and exploration equally and really work to adjust the game to the groups needs/wants. Want a crunch tactical combat experience? Great! Hearts set on roleplaying the group as disgraced members of a wizards college? Awesome! Looking for Indiana Jones level exploration, puzzles, and traps? Sign me up! Be forewarned though, that I don't hold back, being a great hero means accomplishing great feats and sometimes making sacrifices. I tend to use optional rules from the 5e DMG on a campaign by campaign basis. Playing Curse of Strahd, Icewind Dale, or something equally dark? Get ready for some horror rolls! I also often use some 4e or slight homebrew elements in my games, but I will always make sure my players understand what the rules are and what needs to be done to succeed!
