About Tricia

I’ve been playing and GMing since the mid-1990s. Back then I ran D&D and In Nomine in my dorm room. Today my bookshelves are filled D&D 5e, Old Gods of Appalachia, and a dozen other systems I’ll get around to playing with someday. My favorite genres are classic fantasy and folk horror.

How Tricia runs games

My games are always full of deep narrative storytelling and immersive worlds to explore. I love nothing better than when a player goes somewhere completely unexpected and pulls the story in a whole new direction! I run classic fantasy and folk mythology/horror games that give players the feeling that they’ve really been there, looked magic in the eye, and lived to tell the tale.

Tricia's ideal table

My tables tend to lean into roleplay and storytelling, but there's always a chance to swing your sword. Above all, I curate a vibe of collaborative storytelling where we're all here to have an experience we just can't get anywhere else. If you love to immerse in worlds that feel real enough to touch, tell stories that don't end after episode 3, and evolve what's on your character sheet from a list of stats to a person you know as well as your best friend, there's an open seat for you!
