About Craig

Welcome, adventurer! I'm Craig, your Dungeon Master and dedicated guide through the realms of imagination. With a lifelong love for storytelling and fantasy, I’ve made it my mission to run immersive, character-driven games where every choice matters and no two sessions are ever the same. As a DM, I focus on player agency, rich roleplay, and dynamic worlds that respond to your actions. I draw inspiration from mythology, epic fantasy, and a whole lot of late-night dice rolls to craft campaigns full of heart, humor, and high-stakes drama. Whether you’re a battle-hardened hero or brand new to the game, I’ll make sure you feel welcome, empowered, and part of something unforgettable. I design everything—from cities to dungeons—with care, always aiming to create moments that stick with you long after the session ends. So grab your dice, ready your character sheet, and join me at the table. Let’s tell incredible stories, face impossible odds, and share laughs along the way. I can’t wait to roll with you. https://linktr.ee/craigdnd

I became a GM because

I love storytelling and bringing people together through shared adventures. Watching players build friendship both in and out of character is one of the most rewarding parts of the journey. It’s about creating memories, sharing laughs, and being part of something bigger than the dice rolls.

I got started GMing...

When the GM of my friend group stepped away and the campaign fell apart. We decided to start fresh, but no one else volunteered to run the game so they asked me to try. I gave it a shot, and to my surprise, I absolutely loved it. I haven’t looked back since.

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

Inventive, story-focused, and player-first.

How Craig runs games

I’m a firm believer in player agency and open-ended storytelling. I provide the framework for the adventure, but I love adapting the narrative to the unexpected choices my players make. Your character’s story matters just as much as the overarching plot, and I strive to create a space where everyone’s contributions are valued and celebrated. My style is loose and player-driven, with plenty of freedom to explore, improvise, and take the story in wild directions. I love roleplaying and bringing NPCs to life through voice and personality. Combat at my table tends to be on the tougher side, so always expect a challenge! I do everything I can to weave characters into the world and make it feel alive around them.

I deal with rules issues by...

Keeping the game flowing, but don't mind a quick check if needed. I value rulings over rule lawyering, and I’ll always listen if a player has a good point. Fun and fairness come before strict RAW at my table.

My games focus on...

Freedom, flavor, and a fair bit of danger. You’ll find roleplay-heavy moments, tough fights, and a world that reacts to your actions. Whether you're smooth-talking nobles or punching a ghost in the face, I’m here to make sure it matters.

When it comes to voices

I commit, even if I sound ridiculous. I’m not a trained actor, but I’ll do whatever it takes to make NPCs feel real, distinct, and memorable. Expect accents, strange mannerisms, and the occasional goblin screech.

Craig's ideal table

My table is a space for creativity, character moments, and collaborative chaos. I love players who get invested, whether it’s in their backstory, the world, or the oddball NPC they just befriended. You’ll fit in well here if you enjoy immersive roleplay, thoughtful choices, and a game that reacts to your actions. I keep the tone flexible, mixing serious storytelling with lighthearted moments and the occasional absolute nonsense. Whether you're an experienced player or new to the game, what matters most is respect, imagination, and being open to the story we’re building together.

I love it when a player

Dives headfirst into the world, whether that means writing backstory, bonding with NPCs, or making wildly impulsive decisions that reshape the story. Creative risks and character-driven chaos are always welcome as long as everyone happy.

I think metagaming...

Is natural to an extent, but best kept in check. If it helps smooth a scene or avoid confusion, no problem. But if it starts overriding character decisions or spoiling tension, I’ll gently steer us back on track.

My table is not the place for...

Players who need to crush every encounter, dominate the spotlight, or treat the game like a competition. I run collaborative, story-first games where everyone deserves a voice and no one’s fun comes at someone else’s expense.
