About C J Hunter
I started GMing in 1981 with Red Box Basic D&D and have been running games ever since (four decades? grimace emoji). I enjoy D&D and have run games with 3rd, 4th & 5th editions, but my passion is for things like Monster of the Week, GUMSHOE games, Powered by the Apocalypse and Fate of every variety. I have run Fate since 2003, starting with Spirit of the Century, then Dresden Files RPG, Fate Core, and now Fate Condensed. I've run a variety of games on Twitch since 2018 including Tachyon Squadron, Blades in the Dark, Swords of the Serpentine, Star Wars: Vagabonds (featured on the Fate SRD Actual Play page), and Star Trek Adventures.

My favorite system of all Time is
... hard to decide. For every genre & campaign idea, there is a perfect game system; I love finding and trying them. Forced to choose, though, Fate Core from Evil Hat is almost always the second best system for every genre & campaign idea. My game listings speak to my eclectic taste in 'favorites.'
When I'm not running games I'm...
...delivering mail for the U.S. Postal Service, which gives me a bit of daydreaming/game prep time during my work days.
How C J Hunter runs games
A seat at my table is: - Safe: it is of utmost importance that everyone feels comfortable & welcome. - Cooperative: I want to work with my players to tell a story they find fun & engaging. - Exciting: I try to keep everything flowing and not get bogged down with minutiae. - Fun: The ultimate goal of every session. If everyone's jaw hurts from smiling, I've done what I set out to do.
