About me
Howdy! I am a game master with almost 2 decades worth of experience running games of various systems, settings, and genres. I love that roleplaying games engage imagination and improvisation in both the players and the GM. I have a physical condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC for short) that limits strength and mobility in my appendages, so my mind and imagination are my biggest assets. As such, I love telling a story and being part of the creative process for others’ creativity. I’ll pretty much play/run anything, but I am most comfortable in horror, sci-fi, and fantasy settings. I run loosely outlined, often open-world games where characters drive the stories. I thrive on making stories with the characters. I am known to improvise very well with whatever the characters want to do and give consequences when appropriate. I don’t seek to kill characters, but I also don’t like to hold punches in combat. I cater my style based on the game and setting we are playing. Generally speaking, my style follows this formula: Roleplay/intrigue/exposition, Combat when appropriate, Puzzles when needed.

I thrive on making stories with the characters. I am known to improvise very well with whatever the characters want to do and give consequences when appropriate. I don’t seek to kill characters, but I also don’t like to hold punches in combat. I cater my style based on the game and setting we are playing. Generally speaking, my style follows this formula: 1. Roleplay/intrigue/exposition, 2. combat, and 3. puzzles. I’ll probably think your cool interpretation of a spell or ability is cool if you think it is too. If it’s too much, we can negotiate and likely compromise. I enjoy storytelling and story-crafting, so I run many of my own stories within the game system and setting. I am currently working on three different novels devoted to settings from games. I like using theater of the mind first, then maps and minis for further visualization. I do like to run modules, but they’re usually snuck into, or start, a bigger story rather than standalone themselves. I began playing D&D 3/3.5 almost 20 years ago. My group played twice before the DM had to quit, so I stepped up, and I loved it! I have since grown in experience with every edition of D&D, though 5 and 3.5 are my favorites. I also love running Middle-earth games! I have extensive experience with Warhammer 40k TTRPGs Deathwatch and Rogue Trader. Furthermore, I ran a Werewolf the Forsaken troupe for almost 3 years. I have run a few other World of Darkness games like Vampire (Masquerade and Requiem) over the years. I ran Call of Cthulhu 7th edition recently, and it was pretty cool. I have some experience with Palladium, specifically Rifts. I enjoy Starfinder and Pathfinder. I made a Mass Effect: Andromeda setting for Starfinder that I’d love to explore. I want to run the Alien RPG! So be on the lookout for both of those to come up on my profile. If there is a system you want to play, and I don't know how to run it yet, I love the opportunity to learn new games!
