About TypeWriter

I was a player who tired to think outside what the written rule said because it's an imagination game but i learned throughout my time as a player that todays dnd GMs along with many players are OVERLY sensive and don't perfer to cooperate with me but instead want me to be someone i'm not to fit in with their world views which caused various misunderstanding leading to me no longer being a player of dnd. So i decided that if i wanted something to change i had to be the GM instead, run things the way i want, inspire some imagination, don't worry abour reviews becauses the ones needed to be seen on the platform and just tell some interesting stories and bring the players and their imaginations along for the ride.

I became a GM because

I find most GMs lacking and i understand why they are, there's not benefit to really getting into a game if most people just want a prefab, by the book, by the rules experience and don't perfer to go off the beaten path. I choose to take the route that shows what i perfer in a GM.

How TypeWriter runs games

All of my games currently have the players roll for clas, race and stats and i do so because otherwise you get midmaxers that build their characters from the group us before session 1 begins and it can also take people who only play a few classes out of their comfort zones along with having people who aren't fans of the 2024 system need to play some of the classes until they can get out it with my reroll chances the can get rarely by playing. I also try to cut out the vast majority of details to get to the heart of the game instead of being bogged down by details.

I deal with rules issues by...

Judging if the rule make sense or not and if not following that rule will make the game experience better or is it better to stick to whats established. A example is the spell catnap, it is a utterly useless spell that in my game i would allow you to either erase the "willing" part or extend to 8h.

TypeWriter's ideal table

I do not care for this new age of players due to them acting like spoiled childern. I perfer adults that can put the world outside the game to the side besides light small talk and play the game without making issues for anyone playing. When you come to my virtue table i expect you to play the game, don't cause issues between other players and not just soullessly do the core fuctions of your character but care about what your character needs to deal with.

I love it when a player

Thinks of a creative solution to a problem or suggests something to make the game run better.
